I'm going to pick up the upcoming FS700 and I have a battery questions. I'm assuming that the FS700 and FS100 will use the same batteries.
I currently own a Glidecam HD 2000 and max weight limit is 6 lbs. With the FS700 being heavier than the FS100, I'm thinking it's going to very close to the 6 lbs limit with the body, lens, battery, etc.
I noticed that you can use different physical sized batteries with the FS100 (with significant weight differences). I know the FS100 manual says the slim NP-F570 will NOT work, but has anyone actually tried one to see if it works?
Or can you guys recommend a slim / lightweight battery alternative for the FS cameras?
Thanks
