My hope for Red is that it will support the maximum number of lens options. In fact, I would love to see it offer this as a challenge - literally any lens ever manufactured could, with the help of machinist, be viable. I realize anything like a universal mount cannot be offered, but perhaps at least the camera can get out of its own way by making sure that none of the geometry (the sensor position, the shutter) is permanently fixed and unmodifiable. I'm not saying it should be easy for anyone to slide things around, but if someone has a set of odd lenses they absolutely want to use, a trip to a technician can make it possible.
