I just would like to know if the way I am working with my HVX footy is throwing away resolution.
Ya see, I record 1080 24pa, and when i convert the MXF with cineform, I resize everything to 1280 x 720, then open a 1280 x 720 project in my NLE with square pixels, then edit.
But recently I found a 1.5 DVCPRO HD aspect setting in my NLE, which means I would need to not resize my footy with cineform, and import it as 1280 x 1080.
Does anyone else use that pixel aspect? Has using the square pixels been downrezzing my footy unnecessarily?
