Singh-Ray vignette w/ 17-55 or 11-16/

Those of you with the 77mm Singh-Ray vari-ND .
I'm wondering if it vignettes with either the 11-16 Tokina or the 17-55 Canon

Thanks Stephen,

But I should have been more specific:

Where in mm does it begin to vignette on each lens.
Also note if you are talking about movie mode or stills as t should vihgnette a litlle less in movie mode due to the cut off on top & bottom.

Also note if you are using the thin or normal version.

I have a 77mm fader ND that hardly vignettes at all on either lens but optical quality isn't great. It uses an 82 on the outside filter though and I think the Singh Ray are both 77mm. I also can make a DIY with 2 separate filters ( 82mm) that is great optically but vignettes at 13.5 on the 11-16 and around 18mm on the 17-55.

Thanks for your help
Trying to decide if buying the Ray will buy me much more. The fader ND might be OK optically for the wide lenses though.

I have both versions of the Fader ND and I've tested them pretty well. They only start to lose IQ nearing 85mm focal length. On my 17-55 f2.8, I can't notice any softness. at 85mm it starts to soften. At 200mm the softness is very apparent.

On my 11-16, there is no softness at all. The bad thing is if you darken it too much on a wide angle, you get that dark cross.

On the 11-16 I mostly use just regular NDs

I use the 77mm Singh-Ray standard-width Vari-NDs.

Before I commit to any specific mm measurements, let me take a fresh look and report back later.
