Big congrats on the deal, man... I've got three companies that have sent over contracts for the distribution of my feature, vigilantes: you can check out the trailer at:

I noticed you said your terms we're beneficial to both you and the distributor... Did you get any up front compensation? If you did, did they initially offer, or did you say you wanted it? Can you or anyone else shed some light on this...

Dunno if I can go into the exact details of the deal we have. I think you should focus on the goals or things that are most important to you with your film and try to get as close to that as you can with your negotiations. Just make sure you realise that you will have to compromise.
