*My bad. I should have put it in the lens discussion...

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG Macro II

I am currently in Europe. I was looking at the Canon version (70-200 f/2.8)
But I saw this one. Its cheaper here than if I were to buy in back in Canada. So, I thought about getting it.

But, is this a reletively good lens to get?
I use my camera (T2i) for making films, and photography.

The only downside is that there is no IS/OS. But, I think its okay as handheld filming with a zoomed lens is not the best anyways.

Any thoughts? Worth getting it?
*Its about $800cnd worth here.

I say it is worth it. I have it and as long as you use a tripod, the image quality is top notch. I spent $800 as well and highly recommend it.

The only thing to be aware of is that it is not for wide angle shooting at all, just in case you did not know that.

Obviously not. Its a 70mm+
I have the 16-55mm 2.8 IS, so Im good on the wide. I needed a decent and cheap telephoto. And this seems right.
