Anhar, you've done it again...
I heard Australia blocks pornographic sites unless you call your ISP and ask for them to be unblocked. How embarassing would that be?
Normally no feelings in porn anywayBoo China, and i didn't know about the Aussie Porn thing, not sure how I feel about that...
this is really the kind of thing where i'd need at least 3 pages to fully explain my thoughts, but it's my belief that it's terribly important that the internet be available to everyone in a completely uncensored form.
If, for example, parents wish to censor certain sites on their home machine, then fine, but as soon as government or corporate owners decide whats ok to see, we will have officially destroyed what is potentially the greatest humanitarian asset the we've ever seen.

Australia is on the verge of passing a law that would restrict porn and other "offensive" content on the Internet and levy fines on ISPs that fail to respond to takedown orders. While free-speech activists rally against the Online Services Bill, and ISPs bemoan what they say is unenforceable, the bill's supporters say it's about time someone made an effort to limit access to Net porn.
How hard is it to control the net?
The idea that it should be completely unchecked isn't any different from the idea that any other form of incredible power should be completely unchecked.
