Shutter Speed

I'm confused on what shutter speed to shoot at.

On my HMC-150s if I'm shooting at 24p I use a shutter of 48.

If shooting 24p on the 7D what shutter is "preferred"?

60p?

30p?

If you want the 180-degree shutter look of film, do the following:
1/50th for 24p/25p
1/60th for 30p
1/100th for 50p
1/125th for 60p
