AC130: shutter speed and DV mode under fluorescent lights

I read in the AC130 book that to avoid color banding under certain lighting, you must shoot 1/60 shutter in USA. But 1/60 is not an option when in DV mode and shooting 60i- when using the shutter dial it's either 1/30 or 1/100. Is "shutter off" the same as 1/60th in DV/60i?

Yes, "shutter off" is 1/60 when shooting 60i (or 720/60p).

1/60 is there. just cycle through everything and you'll find it. or justt turn shutter off as Barry mentioned

the shutter dial will not provide 1/60 as a choice in DV mode at 60i recording. I've tried it several times. When you press the dial select button, then choose shutter dial- and then scroll the wheel up and down= 1/60 is not a choice. It goes from 1/30 to 1/100. Only "shutter off" will result in 1/60 in this specific recording mode.
