shred test footage..

well, you gotta try again and give us a link to an actual server, or drink some coffee, or get some sleep and post it in the morning! ;-)

you made it!

well, it's modest and it is what it is, basically some doc footage of skaters and some interesting music, at least I wasn't bored and there was even some high drama with guy who wiped. ;-) I couldn't figure out if you were gonna help him or just getting closer to see if there was blood!

What was the music?

wow, those guys were killin it. Really cool music.

Looks like some big event. I'll have to upload some footage after this year's BitterCold Showdown (annual rollerblading event at Vertigo skatepark in Boardman, Ohio). Usually get hundreds of pros out there, and somewhere close to 1,000 other bladers from around the country. It's insane. Video premieres and trade show. Every hotel in the area is always occupied by skaters, haha. Anyway, that isn't for another week and a half. But it will be worth it.

I just put the camera on my side and went to see if he ok. Pointing a camera after someone is really hurt tends to piss them off and knowing him, he is not afraid of letting me know. I consider my self still brand new with the DVX and was in hope that feedback can get me a better picture. I left out graphics and various other shots not wanting to piss off my work as well. The music is from a band Lali Puna. Thank Shawn for the feedback.

Dear Digitalis,
Fellow skateboarder right here, and I tottally enjoyed it. I wasn't sure about it at the beginning, but you tottally brought it back...
Shooting the skating is squeeze mode with some very precise motions gave this a great feel. It was a lot different than a lot of skate videos I've seen being made with the DVX recently. Very nice, and I'm very impressed at what I'm sure you'll be able to do. Good work.

Late viewer here. Great overall. That guy really bit it ... funny. I think I would have edited out the run-over to help though. Also not sure what the point was in showing the guy climbing up out of the hatch. Anyway, I know you were just messing around with some footage. Cool
