Should yo re-use tapes in XH-A1?

I know it's a "cheap guy" question but, I read a thread that stated you should be able to do this a few times without issue?
Back in the day you risked frame droppout and dirty heads.
What do you think?
 
You still do. Reuse a tape one too many time and you risk drop out. Best not do it unless you absolutely have to.
 
Oh, just wanted to say thanks to you as well.
Although I have been a member for only a short time and have posted very little, I have gleaned a great deal of knowledge from your replies on requests for help.

I'm ashame to say that I've done it a few times lately for emegencies, simply because it's too long of a drive to Fry's for new tape. I've definitely noticed more dropouts but so far it hasn't hit in any area that I actually used anyway. What I would say is if you're reusing tapes, do a lot of retakes just in case.
