I am going to be filming three moving actors, mostly outdoors in increasingly dim light as the story unfolds, with also a couple of car scenes, in 24 p. How much does it complicate things in editing if one cameraman has a dvx and another an xl2? I am not so much worried about small variations in color as I am major technical glitches. I want to keep this thing cheap.
Also, I have an old Sony Handicam dcr-hc85 which can shoot 30p and am thinking of using it for quick, completely extraneous shots from under a car or floating on water (its a crazy story) instead or risking an expensive camera. Can I throw in this tape also?
