Shot on the Canon A1

Since you asked....I'll give it a go.

First off, you are way better than I am with the video camera. Your shots are very nicely composed, and some of the lighting is awesome. Oh and the model? Beautiful.

What comes to mind are the quick zoom ins, which are kind of staccato- ish on my screen- maybe only have 1 or 2 of them. For me, slower zooms may fit better. (That's just me) The shots in the river I didn't care for. But the beach footage was great.

Sorry if I'm nit picking....but overall very nicely done. And dang that model is nice to look at!

Yes, some color correction in AE but not much. Also did some masking on the floral pattern in AE and the final credit.
 
I liked the music however I dont know how appropriate it was for the piece. I haven't really seen the whole "trash the dress" concept done before, although I get the concept after seeing your piece. Not feeling that slow mo zoom out and in thing. You must a Still Photographer primarily. Your stills are excellent! The videography isnt bad, probably better than me by anymeans but I get the sense your a photographer offering video services on the side. If it was me, I would make it more uptempo, shorter clips, faster cuts with a more upbeat song that had attitude and sass. Then it would match up to the visuals better. The evolution elements wernt bad either but they really didnt feel like they were part of the piece. like an after thought really. Dont get me wrong it wasnt bad or anything just my 2 cents
 
Ah yes, I thought the floral pattern was beautifully done. I'm relatively new to AE, but was that some kind of stock template or did you design that yourself?
 
I thought was really well done. You probably could have done the strobing zooms a few less times but overall I though it was very good. Some great creative ideas there!:)

You can get the floral patterns at www.videocopilot.net look under the "Evolution" collection. Although I did some making on some of them in AE but there is some really good ones in that set.
