Hey guys,

This is a video I recently shot and edited for my band, with the help of some very talented folks here in Albuquerque, NM - it's "Everybody Down", off our new record, "SOS". We're Vertigo Venus, a synthpunk band. I shot this video for the cost of eight Domino's pizzas. It was shot on two Canon 5D MK II's, and one Nikon D7000. Edited in Sony Vegas Pro 10 by me (the drummer, brian - Yes, we can do more than just hit things with sticks :P ).

Hey its cool i like it bro well done! Im sure everyones a fan of the keyboard girl too! Phwoar haha! Welcome to the forum! My only suggestion to consider is not to boast how cheap your movie was to make (if it discounts any kind of wage!!!) Its the same as saying your only worth 8 pizza boxes!!!

Cool work - and tell the lead singer im loving the hair do - reminds me of Heaven 17 'temptation!'

Thanks man! That means a lot. Yeah, the pizza thing is really just a joke, but I agree; it looks a lot better than 8 pizzas :)

Well as the drummer Brian you did a solid job.

Agree with that Scottish guy above, whats his name? Nevermind, but yeah keyboard girl has a very pleasant look.

Also you dont happen to know my friends David Garcia and Stuart Overby at half life digital there in Alburquerque by any chance? They run a nice production shop there. Great people.

Very nice! Which shots were on the D7000, and what lenses did you use?

The wide shots were usually the D7000. We also did a lot of the macro shots (on my kick pedal, etc.) with the D7000. As to the lenses, We had at least 2 50mm f/1.8 lenses on the Canons, a 70-200 f/2.8L, and a 17-40 f/4L lens. I have to get the specs on the rest; we had a macro lens that I don't know the specs of, but was a really nice piece of glass.

I do know them! I have worked with them a little bit, they shot some footage for a client of mine whom I edited and shot footage of his artwork. Very cool folks. I want to see if I can work with them more at some point.
