Short Skit.

that was pretty cool como
did you light it? it looked very evenly lit, especially the one cutaway to the cu of the guys face

Nope, just the lights in the cafeteria!

Now that you said it, it was pretty evenly lit!

Thanks for looking.

what were ur settings ur blacks look really crushed and it looks a little green i dunno if that was the look yhour were going for or not

Funny Robbie, I liked it. Just short enough to not lose interest, but long enough to get a laugh. Here are my only thoughts -

Lose the 2.35:1. I think it would have looked better at 16:9 framed tighter to the table. (the framing you have with the sides chopped off basically).

The tilt when when he gets up and down is distracting. Not sure why but it is. I would just start with him sitting and not tilt up when he leaves.

Yeah its a little green but looks like the green you get from cheap fluorescents - looks great though for existing lighting. nice and even. If you had some lights I'd add a bit of light to one side of his face just to give it a bit of variance from side to side, but it looks fine like it is.

Keep up the good work!

and btw - what's a coop? Like a cable access station?

When did I mention coop?

I did the camera movements in post. I did it because the matte chopped his head off, but I guess I should take the matte out!

Aha! That's why I dont like the camera movements - they arent camera movements at all. And that may just be me, but they just stood out too much to me. You mentioned coop in the first post

- "Another short video at my coop. Just for fun, took 10 minutes to shoot. No biggie."

OH,

no co-op. In stead of me going to first semester in high school, I take co-op. So in stead of 4 classes, I go to co-op for the day, everyday. I pretty much don't go to school cause of the placement I'm in.

co-op is going to a workplace and learn about your talent, and the workplace. Obviously, in this case I'm at the school board, doing video and editing work. It's pretty cool.

oh that's cool - we didnt really have anything like that. I like it. Wish I couldve done that in high school. We coud go to tech school for half a day and learn to weld but nothing where you could go to an actual workplace. Interesting way to get a taste of the "real" world without having to be just thrown in. Glad you're enjoying it.
