short H.264 clip to test Avids workflow needed

I dont own a D7 yet, but want to test the Avid workflow. A user of the Avid forum asked me to send an original D7 .mov file for tests. Preferrably 1080p25 or 720p50 (if possible with motion and detail in the picture) to test the Avid MC workflow.
If someone could put a short piece of original D7 .mov H.264 on some server it would be great.

BTW: any experiences with Avid and H.264 yet? Maybe Avid needs to be urged to include a sensible workflow/codec.

It works perfectly. I just edited 1080/24 without an issue. Just import the footage and it works.

How did you do it, just open a bin and import?

Which DNxHD codec did you use?

How long does import take for a 1min clip?

How is quality, as good as the original D7 clip?

Correct

Which DNxHD codec did you use?
175x - Just to be safe

How long does import take for a 1min clip?
Quite a while on my laptop, will solely be based on your CPU and Hard Drive speed.

How is quality, as good as the original D7 clip?
Yes, certainly could do more tests to make certain. I've printed to 35mm from DNxHD 175x on D-5 and it looked great.
