Short Film - To Live for Tomorrow

This is an old short film I dug up from the grave and uploaded finally. I did it back in highschool a few years back. It was shot all on the XL-2 with all natural lighting for the most part. We only had 2 weeks to do the entire thing, and it was my first time using Final Cut Pro, so most of the time I was trying to figure out how to use the program for editing and sound foley, etc.

Anyway here's the link:

Pretty cool. How did you get it unconverted to HD?

Seems really clear with not much noise that the XL2 sometimes gives. What settings did you use?

I don't remember 100%, as I tried several different ways...

It could actually be higher quality, but I took it from a DVD rip (only version I had left of it), put it through Final Cut to add credits, exported it as standard DV. Then I ran it through Compressor as .mov h.264 codec at 1280x720, framerate: current, keyframes: automatic, bitrate 5000kbps. Frame controls and filters turned off. It actually came out a bit better than I had thought. Too bad I don't have a master copy :(
