Short documentary with DSLRs and all in-camera effects

Hi folks,
Recently finished this short documentary using the 7D and 5Dmkii. All in-camera effects. I'm going to attempt another one soon trying to get some different looks.

This was well done. Do you have a studio? How did you achieve the all black back ground in the dance parts?

Very cool. How did you do the in-camera efx?

This was shot in a dance space in Central Square, Cambridge called the Dance Complex. The just happened to have some backdrops out. There was a wall of windows behind the camera so go enough natural light flowing in.

All of the effects were generated with a glass kit. Placed it in front of the lens and moved it around. You can see the reveals and moves when she becomes clear or vaporizes.
