i choose to go with VISION preset. -3db Gain, White balance Set.

i heard 60i lowers quality..
I believe 60i is the best quality you can get out of the xha1. This is a motorcycle event correct? You will want all the frame information you can get if you want some cool slow motion shots so i would keep it on 60i. As far as your gain, -3 seems a bit too low for my taste especially since you are in a run and gun situation going inside and outside. I would keep it anywhere between 0, 3 & 6.
