Shooting TVs and Computer screens

I'm about to shoot a reality show where we will be shooting in a news room for roughly 80% of the time. Computer screens will be shot eventually and I'm kind of worried about how the Canon 7D will respond to a computer screen and/or TV screen.

I'v shot my computer screen and it looks fine, no running frames at all. But will that work for every screen? Is there something that I should look out for?

I have noticed very subtle banding/rolling on even high end LCDs with the 5Dii. CRTs are a complete no go and roll like crazy.

You should be OK if you stick to LCDs. Just make sure you test it out before you start shooting.

remember to shoot at 60 shutter speed in some cases.. The us power fqcy is 60htz or any divisible if this. I shot my lcd tv at 50 shutter speed just fine .
