Shooting TV series with our new AF-100s in Mexico.

Sweet gig. IMHO -- You should have the editor split the interview vocals so there not all on the left side.

Have fun.

Just purchased 2 AF 100s to shoot Season 8 of Mexico: One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless.

One of my favorite food shows! We get it here on the LiveWell network, 9:00pm just about every day. Now I know why -- eight seasons worth! Good on ya.

Where do you shoot this show? IOW, is this in a "real" kitchen, or a set? I'm wondering because of the lighting. I can't quite figure out how it's done if it's really a kitchen. Doesn't seem to be enough space for it. Yet, it uses very wide angle lenses, which would seem to indicate a small environment.

And shoot the food before it is eaten. I know this can be a challenge if everyone is hungry.

I'll bet the food goes fast on a Bayless shoot. Really fast!

Jan, next time you're in Chicago have a meal at Topolobampo. The Baylesses have learned a bit about Mexican cuisine, and it really shows. Well worth the trip. Make reservations as soon as you know you'll be in town -- it's exceedingly popular.

If you can't get there, at least pick up some Frontera Salsa at a high end grocery store (e.g. Whole Foods). Awesome stuff.
