shooting slow - mo in camera!what am i doing wrong?

hey guys im shooting 720p/30pn and 60 frames and when i got to play it back on my computer its still not slow - mo!what am i doing wrong?im having a hard time getting my head around the hvx 200

You are in film cam mode, correct? You are definitely shooting in PN modes and have changed the frame rate in your scene file to something greater than your shooting mode?

Wow, not sure. Check your frame rate on the computer. Could your computer be playing the footage at 60fps instead of 30?

Any other details you can provide would help us trouble shoot it.

Sounds like an NLE error, or some setting you've overlooked.

Dont you need to be in 720p24- 60 frames for it to work?

I shoot on Firestore and thats what i have to do

Set the camera to 720/24pN recording format in menu 5. Then go into the scene files menu, menu 1, and choose "film cam". Then change the frame rate to 48 or 60. Record footage. Then go to playback mode and play it back. It'll be slow-mo.
