SHOOTING RAW ON T2i?

Aha!

So the quality settings are meaningless when shooting motion?

Thanks for clearing that up!

The still image quality settings will not affect the video resolution, except for the still images you might take while in video mode.

You set the video resolution independently of the still image quality settings, and you have the choice between 640x480, 1280x720, and 1920x1080 with the various frame-rates those options allow.

Unlike the stills, the video mode of the camera doesn't shoot RAW, so it is very important to set the Picture Style options correctly before you shoot the video, because the settings will be baked into the video. You cannot change the picture style settings later like you can when you shoot RAW still images.
