Shooting music videos with the canon 550d/t2i

About a month ago I was asked if I could record and put together a video of someone singing. Well, I'm now on my third video and I'm finding that I really enjoy doing these videos. I'm a complete noob when it comes to this so I try to improve little by little. This is the latest video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndbWpgIQil0 .

Any feedback, tips, hints would be really appreciated. You can tell me if it sucks - that's why I'm asking, so I can improve. The few people that have seen it told me that my cuts are too fast. I also know that I need better motion in the video - I'm thinking about either getting a glidecam stabilizer or just get a pocketjib. So yeah, I'm looking for tips on color, motion, editing, etc.

This was filmed on a t2i with canon 50mm 1.8f and canon 17-55mm 2.8f. For stabilization I used a homemade pvc shoulder rig and a tripod with 701 manfrotto head. Edited in Premiere CS5.

Thanks
