GH2 Shooting Mode for Avid MC workflow using AMA link

I just found out shooting in Motion JPEG could do it: using AMA link, no need time to import. Any one tried shooting with this mode? what is Pros and Cons of doing that?
 
AMA for avid workflow still needs a powerful computer.
I still preferred avchd workflow+import in my feature.
Jpeg quality is problematic for me.
 
Agreed, I edit on MC, and although MJPEG AMA linking works, I like the resolution and overall quality of shooting in AVCHD and then importing to DNxHD.

Seems to me it look nicer in low light, for gun run, quick edit and post. if not the 2gb limit, I would say it good for what I am doing ( 3min news )
 
I'm not sure what you mean by "still google". And I suppose it wouldn't matter 720 vs. 1080 if the final delivery is to DVD. I've gotten used to delivering videos in HD haha.
