I noticed that the C100 has options in the menu to shoot at bitrates lower than 24mbps. While I understand that as a general rule higher bitrates mean better quality, what about when you're going to be compressing to 720p 5mbps for YouTube anyway?
So my question is, is there any point in shooting 24mbps, exporting the finished video and then using Media Encoder to compress to 5mbps? Or can I just shoot at a low bitrate to begin with? (Again, this is for 720p web delivery only, no grading required.)
Appreciate your advice.
