GH2 Shooting indoors.what lens?

Hi folks,

I have had my GH2 now for a couple of weeks and I am slowly but surely getting to grips with it.The last couple of days I have been starting to work out how to film a short I wrote a couple of months back. The whole of the film is shot indoors in my house and I had a couple of shots in my head that I really wanted. One such shot was looking down the stair case using the bannister rail as a guide to lead the viewers eye into the character walking past the bottom of the stairs, after 20 minutes or so I managed to get this shot somewhat right if not perfect.

Now my problem has come with the second shot,I wanted a shot looking up at an angle from down low, as the actor walked away from the camera towards a door at the end of a hallway. However the 14-45mm lens I am using doesn't get as much in as I would like, the hallway is quite long and I can back up around 25 feet from the door at the end,but the shot still doesn't look right.

I see a lot of shorts shot with the GH2 indoors and I can only assume most indoor shots use something less than the 14mm focal length?

If so,what lenses do you folks use for interior shots?

Kind regards,

Luke.
