C300: Shooting in slow mo only

Im curious as Ive never done it before.

I do a lot of promo type of videos for different companies. I shoot a mix of regular and slow motion.
Its like event footage, so you never know what will happen or when to shoot slow motion or regular speed.
For the promo videos, most of it looks best when its in slow motion as it looks more dramatic and intense, i guess you would say.
However, there is a combination of slow and fast motion footage in the final video anyways.

What if I shot everything in slow motion?
The clips that they want to be at regular speed, can they convert it back to regular speed with the motion blur as if it was shot in 24fps?

The C300 records audio at regular speed & footage at slow motion. Which is great if I ever need to convert it back to regular speed, I still have usable audio I can sync.
But Im not sure how it will effect the footage or if it will look good, or worth shooting like that.

Another thing,
I hate how its 720p for slow motion!!
I wish it was 1080p. There is a 60i option. Is shooting 60i a bad thing? Is it going to be noticeably worse than 720p-60fps?
What side effects will I get from it?

Unfortunately I think you know the answer to this. However good the image and codec is, the C300 is a cinema camera, not an events camera - if it could shoot 1080 60p all your troubles would be over. Apart from that, you can easily convert 60i to half res 60p and I personally cannot see the difference between that and native 720p, but why not check for yourself. Still don't know why anyone who wasn't starved for storage would bother with 24p unless it was going to film.

The C300 doesn't record audio during over/undercranking. If you need the footage to be usable in slo-mo or 24 or "regular video", I'd recommend shooting 720/60P(59.94) or 1080/60i(59.94) and convert in post.
