Shooting in extreme cold

I'm heading to Alaska tomorrow (Friday) shoot for a day. I'm experienced with the DVX100A but I've never used it in extreme cold (0 – 10 degrees). Anyone have any advice for how the camera behaves in the cold for extended periods of time, or tips for dealing with it?

Thanks!

A big thing I always try to remembr is let the camera get cold, dont keep it wrapped up in a warm car or house, then expose it to the cold, cameras can handle a good range of temperature but you have to let the camera adjust, before you get out of a car, drop the temp in the car using the AC, then open the door and let the cold air in for a minute, then go outside.

I miss alaska.

I also believe, in the manual, it states a lot of stuff about condensation and how you could ruin your camera.

I used to live in alaska, but I never shot outdoors in the cold winter. But I remember going on shoots and having to deal with my anamorphic lense fogging up when I would move the camera from the trunk of my car into a shoot location. Blowdryers seem to work ok for that sort of thing.
