So i'm really looking into getting a shoot35 mattebox, followfocus, and rails in the near future. My biggest question goes out to the people who have order stuff from them before.

How much is this stuff going to actually cost me after shipping, customs, and any other taxes i might have forgot. I might order this stuff separate as i get the money. So i would probably do the FF and rails deal at 449pounds (or is it euros?) and then later the mattebox at 399 or 449 if it goes up when i can afford it.

Just looking into how much i'm going to actually pay for this stuff in American dollars. Thanks
 
I just ordered the FF and mount with the rails a few weeks ago. It came out to $777.41 total on my credit card. Very happy with the product, solid construction and well made. Can't wait until they come out with a shoulder rig.
 
Yes, that was the total cost for the dslrmount & cinefocus package, shipped. Depending on how many lenses you have, consider getting more flexigears.
 
Yea do those cinegears come off the lenses to be able to be put on other lenses or are they like a one time use like a zip tie?
 
No, you can take them on and off, but you need to use an allen wrench and I didn't find it the most user friendly to put on. It took a little time to get the screw and washer the right angle to keep it straight. Not something you want to be dealing with in the field when switching lenses. A lot easier to have one on each lens and have them ready to go. Obviously you can look into other gear options from other companies.
 
Yea I was just thinking I could get away with one when I first order since I only have two lenses? But, I guess it would be a much smarter move to just grab a couple more
 
Hi Guys,

Just to clarify, our FLEXIgears are designed to be installed once and stay on the lens. You should purchase one FLEXIgear for each of your lenses.
 
Thanks for the reply Wayne. That's kind of what I was thinking, but I wanted to see if I could get away with just one gear for two lenses at the moment. I also have a question that I was wondering if you could clarify for me.

You have special package deals on your site and for 949 pounds you get the rails and mount, mattebox, and followfocus. But if you purchase the deal for the Follow focus and mount with rails it's 449 pounds and then you can get the cinebox for 399 pounds right now. Thus saving you 100pounds. My question is what would you be getting less of by getting the two separate packages versus the larger more expensive one with cinebox, FF, and mount and rails?

The only difference I see is 3 lens gears added onto the more expensive one. And also the larger package shows the cinebox with flags, but does not mention them in the list of included items, so is this another point in which the bigger package is more expensive? What am I missing?

The Special Offer Package offers 3 extra FLEXIgear lens gears and the Top & Side Flags for the CINEbox, which works out less expensive than adding the items separately.

The contents on the £949 package does indeed show the flags included:
