Shift tilt timelapse with ex-1

No software is used, thats the effect you can achieve optically by using a Tilt shift lens (with a 35mm adaptor)

I think in this case it's Magic Bullet Looks. They have a preset that mimics that lens to give a shallow DOF effect. I also just saw a video about the new Photoshop MBL for still images, and they showed a preset that looked exactly like the one on this vid. And the guy says "tilt shift effect" in the description. I have MBL and have used the preset.

I still reakon it is a standard optical effect from a tilt shift lens. no special effects in post needed. Its that minature look that I don't think you can fake well, not the shallow DOF or the fact the DOF is often off axis with a TS lens.

Guy, check out this link to a 55mb movie showing the new Magic Bullet Photo Looks - the same as MBL, only for photoshop.

At 6:45 they do the swing/tilt effect, and it looks exactly like the effect in th video in this thread.

Quite an impressive filter. As long as you have a large DOF to start with, but thats hardely a problem for many of our shots with these little 1/3-2/3 type sensors....
