Hey guys

my xha1 seems to be breaking up shots while im capturing when there is no break in the timecode. So a 30 minute shot of a live performance is getting broke into maybe 2 or 3 parts which is a nightmare.

Could this be down to the heads needing to be cleaned?

how stupid and annoying, such a bad bad bad thing when shooting things, its like a roulette! I'm due to ring canon uk today so I'm gonna bring it up.

You could try a third party capture program like HDVXDV which can capture the whole shoot or maybe CaptureMagic , then fix timecode breaks with MPEG streamclip.
