Sheer video on macpro

No rt effect on the intels or in fcp at all? I was just getting ready to ask why you don't read more about this codec being used as opposed to dvcpro hd, maybe this is one of the reasons.
 
Yeah, no RT effects, but the codec is phenomenal in terms of image purity. It can play back in real time and render fairly quickly, but no, as of right now it isn't one of the "blessed" codecs in FCP.

I still use it on a daily basis.
 
Hey Elton, can you describe how you use Sheer? This is on my list to get. Did you say you edit it on the FCP timeline, and then drag the full project into a sheer timeline for color correct, etc.? Trying to understand just how this works.
