Share Magic Lantern card between T2i and T3i?

I have a T2i and like to use it with magic lantern. I'm considering getting a 2nd body (for weddings and events). The T3i has some advantages with the flip-out screen and digital zoom features, so I thought about getting that instead of another T2i, assuming that otherwise the menu and buttons are very familiar between the two. However, my concern is whether or not I'll be able to share the same SDHC cards across all my cameras or need to segregate them. On the card with ML, I see there's different firmware images, so I presume it selects the right one to boot, and that's not likely a problem. Then, I got to thinking about the config file that saves settings. Since the T3i has some limitations in the ML firmware, the config files may be different between them, and I'm worried that using an undefined setting on one for the other might cause a crash or something.

Does anybody use ML on both a T2i and T3i that can comment about sharing cards between them and any issues? Since this is for weddings/events, I can't afford any chance even accidentally, so leaning towards another T2i.

Even with another T2i it's still not a good idea to "share" cards. Using the card in the older camera and then subsequently putting it in the newer one without formatting first will allow the card to reset the file numbering sequence in the newer one.

I'd "segregate" the cards regardless.

And I'd also copy the files from each to separate folders in your computer to prevent inadvertantly "overwriting" image files that might have the same filename.
