SGpro flip module - pictures of complete rig

Could you start a new thread showing off as many pictures of the Quad Rod support as you can? I'm interested in that! I've been talking about someone doing a RED ONE cage setup for these cameras for the last few months.

Looks like I wasn't the only one thinking that!!! Please, more pics and show us how it works!!!

I really love that grab in the first post. Just wanted to mention that Wayne.

And Wayne, just curious what you would guess about this:

can you hold up an HVX with the SGpro Rev.3 with the flip from
the HVX handle and the little handle on the top of the SGpro? If say you had
it all, a small prime, FF, the new RedRock Matte Box, rails (from Zacuto for me)
the handles and shoulder pad from Red Rock assuming they are as light as they
look to be, and no Monitor or Batteries on it.... it looks safe...

Hi,

Yes, so long as you have the rig hard mounted to a rods support, I hold my rig from the camcorder & SGpro's handles all the time.

Hey wayne,

Whats the wait time looking like for an sg/flip package. I was thinking about picking one up but would need it before the end of June.

ALso, which is something im sure has been answered before, is there any reason I can't mount the flip module upside down?
I am rocking the indi focus rail setup so it would be much more convenient to do it that way.

Hi,

Demand has gone through the roof lately, so we have had to push our lead times up to over a month unfortunately. All shipping dates are stated on the website for each bundle.

The flip module can be rotated and positioned either up or down, the pictures on the previous page show this.

DXMATEL This is our version of the flip. It uses a double rail system we call the 'Quad Rod' setup. Allows simply mounting the camera upside down within 4 rails. It takes about 2 minutes to familiarize ones self with the inverted camera controls. It spares the extra glass (2 extra dust surfaces) and saves weight while adding 2 extra rails for mounting additional hardware. It works well and I like it! Hope others will also. Hey Wayne and Dennis, nice looking stuff!

Awesome, yeah can you make a new thread on your 35mm adapter and then take more pics of the whole system please ? I am sure a lot other members here are interested to see your product ! :)

thanks again for that one pic !!

Wayne, how much stuff do you have on your camera when you carry it like that?

And just to clarify... your lead for the flipped package with no follow focus is one month, or more? And if more, how much more right now?

I have carried it like this with an SGfollow focus attached, no mattebox but this should be no problem.

Please check our order page @ www.shoot35.com as each bundle states a shipping date on its page.
