Thanks guys! I'm definitely looking foward to getting cavision support and a monitor. I don't know when that will happen though.

Actually, no. What I usually do is export from vegas to a Sorenson 3 uncompressed file, then use quicktime pro to render the different sizes of h264's. But for this one the uncompressed file was only like 188 megs which is within the limit of vimeo so I just uploaded that one. I think there's a place on vimeo where you can actually download the original .mov file too.

That looked real nice. I recommend to research other support set ups besides cavision shoulder and hand mounts for 100 bucks off ebay because I didn't have any more money than that. It works okay, but shooting just for a day makes it almost impossible for my to unbend my arms without feeling pain. I tried to position the grips closer and it helped while shooting, but the pain was still there when I was done. I think its just because there is nothing weighing the camera down in the back so its all on your arms which are bent at a 90 degree angle.

They are still good for being under 200 bucks new from B and H. Much better than trying to shoot while holding the handle and rails.

I need to take my sgpro out during sunset cause that made your footage look really good.

Do you know of any other brands I could look in to? I saw the spiderbrace, but the cavision's seem better than that... It can't be that bad can it? I could always try to add some type of diy thing to the back to even out the weight.

cavision works, its just reaaaaaal uncomfortable if you shoot for a long time. you could add weight to the back probabaly but the back it right up against your shoulder so i dont know how it would balance the rig. you could extend some sort of arm out the back of you and add a weight to that and it might work.

i got mine off ebay for 115 so i cant really complain. i feel safer shooting with the adapter knowing it has more support
