SGpro Day 63

Thanks.
I usually use mb when I want something I know I can make easily. Other than that I like to spend time messing with the different color filters in Vegas. I am beginning to like the RGB curves as of late

You definitely have the eye for composition. Also, the knack for getting the most out of your DVX setup.

Aside from your great color grading, any chance you'd share your Vegas project settings and render settings?

Thanks guys
deckard - my scene files are:

Detail Level -4
Master Ped -7
Everything else 0
Gamma Normal
Knee Auto
Matrix Normal
Skin Off
V Detail Thin
24pa

The negative 4 detail was recommended by another sgpro user who had it recommended to him by Smettli. The difference is visible when switching through my scene files.

stinkpot - Thanks. The Vegas setting was just the preset called "NTSC DV 24p (720x480, 23.976 fps)"

I left everything as is.

When I export, I make a uncompressed quicktime file with the highest of everything. Then I open that in quicktime and export it as the premade "LAN/BROADBAND" setting which is like 720x480, h.264, 1300br - It usually looks pretty good.

Thanks jkc123
I normally use cine when I was shooting without the adapter, but when someone unrecommended the scene file I have now, they said they used normal. And I liked how it looked so I never bothered to tinker more with the settings.

I will now though
