Hi Guys,
We are pleased to say that our 6 SGblade 'beta' units have now arrived. 5 of these will be heading to our 5 chosen beta testers for feedback and review. Below is a beta Blade with new Stainless Steel Nikon mount attached:

The above is the beta design, the final production run of the Blade will have the main casing trimmed up for a sexier look. Below is our final CAD design for the production SGblade and the new rods support:

Everything looks great so far; looking forward to getting my hands on the Blade. Any test footage yet from the beta testers?
I like that there's an independently movable tripod plate. Is that the camera block in the back? If so, hopefully it will have horizontal and vertical adjustability.
Also, for the adapter support, perhaps you should have two models; a standard and an extended version for snorkel up configurations.

The rods support is adjustable in both direction. The Blade can be mounted either way, it is threaded on the top as well as the bottom.

Hi Wayne,
Do you anticipate that the stock achromat will work well with a Panasonic HPX-170 or do you think it may require a separate one for best edge-to-edge sharpness? If possible, it would be great if the Blade could be tested with an HPX-170 before the production units are released...
