Hey everyone, i have been reading this forum for a while and everyone here has tons of knowledge. So off the bat i would like to say thank you, any issue i seem to encounter with my dvx100b i have been able to find the answer here. Which brings me to my question...

I am about to start shooting a 5 part Yoga instructional DVD series. Its in a studio setting with sufficient lighting. All the moves will be slow pans/ tilts/ slides. I will be doing post in FCP and going to DVD for the final delivery.

I was thinking of shooting at the preset 30i setting to give it that crisp look. However part of me loves the 30p look....

I just want everyone's personal opinion on what format this should shot with. Thanks.

I'm thinkin a really warm picture, like even bump the "color temp" up to like +5, and maybe pickup a difusion filter. shoot 24p or pA for sure.

I think most Yoga/exercise DVDs are shot 60i.

30p or 24p would be an interesting change of pace, but you definitely gotta watch your speed on camera movement.

Ultimately, it's up to you. You said you like 30p - why that instead of 60i? If you can answer that in a way you feel strongly, I say go for it.
