All right, work with me here. I'm shooting an outdoor (Boating) segment soon on my XL2. The entire day I'll be on the water in the open sun. My question is what are the ideal setting to use to achieve a nice crisp, colorful, (I hate to say it) "Film Like" look?
I'll be shooting in 24p, at 1/48th using a circular polarizer. I have been shooting with my black set to press, and my set up level all the way down. What else should I do, or not do to enhance the look and picture? Sharpness, coring, vertical detail, master ped, etc?
I'll be color correcting in post, but I'd like to save as much time doing post cleanup as I can.
I'm not very experienced on the specifics, but would love to have any feedback from others. Read manuals front to back, but that doesn't help with getting an ideal look.
*I searched the forum before posting, and I didn't quite find anything that helped.
Thanks to any who reply!!
