I was looking at lens for the HVX200A and was ask what size Sensor did I have in the camera. The sales person said that may help me on picking the right Lens for it. does anyone know where to check for that info?
 
I'm adding an M2 Adapter and have been looking at the 50mm, 28mm, 14-24mm and a 80-200mm. 90% of the filming is exterior. want to get better DOF and more film look.

When I was in the Camera Shop looking at the Lens the sale person ask what size sensor did I have in the HVX and that would let him know what lens would work best with the camera. I myself don't have a clue what he is talking about as sensor go.
 
It's a 1/3" sensor. If the sales guy didn't know that or couldn't figure it out, I doubt that he has any experience with DOF adapters.
 
he was probably asking because with small sensors you loose light with a mini 35 adapter and you would want to get a wide lense with an aperture of at least 2.8 to get the most light possible to get the most dof i think
