Sensor cleaning system

I read an interesting article today on the new Canon EOS 400D, which uses a new type of dust removal system to self clean the sensor and also map any dust that refuses to be self cleaned for digital removal in post (reminds me of Arri's new laser film scanner that uses an infrared pass to map dust particles on the film as an alpha channel).

I was thinking about how Red was going to approach this problem - the Canon concept seems a good idea and given that it is facing the same issues (removing lenses and exposing the sensor to the elements).

Anyone from Red able to elaborate on plans for the camera (if you are able to and don't have some new method you're keeping under wraps)? Even if it is just words to the effect that you are thinking about the problem and that it won't be a problem, would be fine :)

Changing lenses on professional 3-chip video cameras has never exposed the camera CCDs to dust or moisture because there is a protective glass plate built into the camera behind the lens mount. With RED projected to mount multiple types of lenses, it would be great if RED also had a protective glass plate below the the level of the deepest possible lens mount (PL), thus getting dust/moisture on the CMOS sensor during a lens change wouldn't be an issue. This is a very important issue to those of us who regularly shoot outside in the elements...
