Enough is enough, especially from little Mr. Terry, and our little friend, "booger". The two shots were shot with the same lighting, and were done within an hour of each other, I think I know--seeing it is in my dining room and I don't recall seeing your sorry asses standing anywhere around. A standing invitation remains to come visit anytime, and conduct your own tests.....
I have indeed had issues with Panasonic; however, I have NOT posted anywhere on 2-pop concerning these issues. I am currently working with Showcase in Atlanta on a purchase of a SDX-900, and currently own three DVX's. Maybe you're different, but if I'm laying that kind of jack out, I want my issues resolved--damn straight. Read all my posts regarding this matter... and gain knowledge.
Furthermore, I would consider it anyones' ( and everyones' ) duty here to report accurately and faithfully their dealings with Panasonic- PRO AND CON. I have been in touch with several individuals at Panasonic, for your information, who have expressed concern, regret, etc., over what is an obvious problem. As I stated in my original post--This is the PROBLEM CAMERA. If you have truly done your due dilligence, you will see unhappy people in here having problems of various sorts. I have recently returned from a trip to Morrocco, where travel and production expenses for myself and crew have run over $11,000.00, and this is not even touching the lost contract for $30K. This has been money wasted due to a defect ,or WHATEVER ( I say KNOWN DEFECT) by Panasonic Broadcast. They want to try and hide behind "grey market"-please no one go off on this tangent. Bottom line- I have f***ing paid to have played here , baby. I ain't doing no student projects in the graveyard. Some people have REAL money involved, and consequently, REAL concerns.
Finally, and most importantly, you have questioned my integrity, buddy "boy". I have repeatedly asked the top officiators of this site to handle and make official my offer for 5 bills to the prize pot. ( where's John, where's IAL, to back me up? )
The bread is on the table: has been, still is. My intentions were to help build a prize fund that would stimulate creative involvement in these contests. No one wants to seem to take the offer. Furthermore SMARTASS, and all like you, I will use this little forum to make known that I have approached the organizers that I am willing to offer a grand prize of a complete PowerMacG4/23'' cinema / FCP4 suite for a contest to be named by them sometime, somewhere. How is it that a prophet is never accepted in his own Country?

I don't exactly recall you being a WINNER of any contest here , double dog- so I would just accept the fact that you my little friend, and not I, are the 'lil hothead with the big mouth; since you MADE it your place to bring accusatory comments my way.
In the mean time, look at my original contest offer, and note that it was not acknowledged officially by anyone, yet I have maintained to still honor my offer. I think observing proper protocol would be in order. Prizes just cannot be indiscriminantly handed out without being recognized officially by "the administrators". Didn't Ollie North teach you anything?
Now, to put all this in perspective:
I started this thread with a purpose, and a reason. Unless, you are some secret Panasonic PR guy, or one of the crowd who stubbornly maintains that " The Emperor still is wearing clothes", you should:
1. Listen and learn. Look objectively at the situation at hand.
No Company has a zero defect record, and these possible
defects, or problems, should be addressed openly. You would
want that- we ALL would hope for that, would you agree?
I would hope that I would support and respect you and anyone
else here that was experiencing diffficulty, as fellow owners of
this fine camera. ( And we would agree, 'tis fine indeed )
2. Understand that others may be experiencing problems and/or
difficulties with equipment, etc. ( What about the poor girl with
all the audio problems? Just another little hothead? )
3. Honest objectivity is the only way to positive productivity.
Deviating from the topic at hand , i.e. questioning one's
integrity, challenging when/if/how something was done,
comparing d**k size,etc., usually yields negativity and stirs
the pot of strife.
Now, I shall be happy to post a couple more grabs soon, with all info., given. Furthermore, if anyone so desires; and to show I walk my talk, I will be happy to provide Jarred, Barry, or John, with my DVX100A(the unit in question) for their own tests and comparisons. I'm sure they have better things to do with their time, but I AM the real
f****ing deal, and maybe a little more than you can handle, but the TRUTH is what's important-right? And I am STILL waiting for acknowledgement for the contest offers, and now I throw down the gauntlet- test it for yourselves, and let us get on to more productive discussions.
