I wonder if there's a difference in dynamic range between the two cameras, because the dvx100 seems to pick up areas where the shadows are much better. Anyhow, my 100a seems to shoot more like the 100a you used, but I can't say for sure since I don't know what settings you used.

looks a little inacurate.. both photos are at different focal settings, and it even appears as the lighting is different, as the contrast is alot different. Are you using auto white balance?

No- This is my frastration. If you were to see the tape, its a joke. I have identical lighting on both. Unfortunately, I am limited from this particular Mac to using iMovie to obtain frames. Then to photoshopCS to size. My other setup is FCP4(office) But regardless, its way diff. I will post two more between 6:00 and 7:00 EST. Any ideas to achieving a better post within my current limitations are welcome

ha ha.. those girls where a little nuts in that production... one of them got really annoying after 28 x 14 hour days. We actually reshot that scene a few weeks ago; because in the screenings people where so pissed off that the bitches lived we had to go back and kill them.

Oh I meant the original DVX100 vs. DVX100A. The highlights on the pic frame and chic's face is entirely different. They were indeed not shot at the same time.
And I don't think the bathroom scene was stagged... :-X

A properly-functioning DVX100A will give an at-least-identical picture to that of a DVX100. I've used them together in a multi-camera shoot and was able to get them to match identically.

He's posting all over this site and 2-Pop blaspheming Panasonic 'cause they won't play his game.
So, he comes here and offers $500 for last month's Short Film contest winner.
Well, we have a winner. Where's the $500 prize?
Then he tries to pull a fast one on all of us by keeping *key* information out of the post concerning the camera comparison.
I don't appreciate him trying to make us look like fools in an effort to recruit us to his side in his war against Panasonic.
That comparison looks like one of those cheesy before and after diet ads. You know, where the before pic shows them overweight, not smiling, etc. Then, the after pic has better lighting, makeup, and the subject is smiling.
