Hi-

These have been really good to use- but unfortunately they don't get much use. They work great and I have only used them for a few interviews. They are very small in size and fit nicely on your talent and on your camera.

It also includes the camera mount for the receiver, and belt clip for the transmitter. The frequencies are from 740-776mhz.

I think this set retails for about $600...

The freq is on the back next to the G2, should say A, B, or C. But if you can't read it turn on the units and look to sse what numbers pop up. You may have to go thru a few menus but the 500s are A, 600's - B and 700s - C.
 
Didn't know that... Who the hell auctioned off the frequencies? The FCC crooks?
Well, If no one wants them I will keep using them, legal or not.
 
Yeah, that's the situation I'm in. It's because of the frequency reallocation for DTV. I talked to a Sennheiser rep recently and he said that they don't re-tune the G2s either (at least here in the States). But if you are the original owner, they may give you a deal on a trade for something in the A or B block depending on how long you have had them.

I'm just going to keep using mine though. It's my back-up set, so it doesn't see much use. It just annoyed me that they were becoming "illegal"
