I own a 50mm 1.8. So I can say my opinion on that from field use.

ML, I was referring to grabbing quality audio and advising against in camera Canon preamps. Wasn't giving thought to the other things included.

Transcend, while data rate may seem fine enough, corruption is more likely on cheaper cards. It has happened to me. Rule of thumb is don't skimp on the media cards. It is one of the most important things.

Here is a thread about transcend if you don't believe me. One guy had two fail.
