Selling DVX100a to friend -- what's a friendly price?

Guys,

I'm about to sell my DVX100a to a friend rather than endure the Craigslist hassles of having people look at the camera, etc.

I have 80 hours on the camera and have only used the good Panasonic tapes.

I'd like to sell it for maybe $200 less than the going rate. What do you think is the going rate for a DVX100a in great condition with 80 hours?

I'm just selling a big battery and a small battery with it, along with the stuff that came with it. I need the rest of the goodies for the HVX.
 
100A goes from $1600-1800 generally. A great price would be $1500, but I wouldn't sell yourself too short.
 
Yeah, I don't want it to be a total gift because I need the money to pay for an HVX, but I want to make a friendly gesture for making my life easier not having to deal with strangers who might hunt me down if they break the camera and want to blame me, etc.
