Selling canon 7D with PL mount on eBay.

[Dan_Kanes]

Selling my syndicate PL 7D on eBay if anyone is looking for one.

Not enough rental interest here in LA to keep it.

Just look for syndicate PL 7D under the username
Tomatocine on eBay.

i can't find it on ebay, but i'm trying to buy a 7D within the next day or so, what are you asking for it?

You might find this a hard sell. See the following link:

Depends on how much they're going to sell it for.

Let me put it this way:

I know for a fact total cost will be more than my buy it now price...

Dan, you should call up the guys at HD Camera Rental or Indie Rentals, they both rent a lot of 7D's and this may be something they get a lot of request for thus might take it off your hands for you and if not most likely they'd set you up as a subrenter.

I think you will be able to sell it, if not Craigs the camera. Sammy's camera in Santa Ana (if not all) is sold out/back-ordered on it so I think you can dump it.

I'm looking to buy just the camera, not so much the PL mount

Thank you everyone for the kind advice - what makes this unique is that the PL mount (much like the Joker's face in Batman) doesn't come off. It's a permanent hard front modificiation. The reflex mirror and much of the internals are carefully and dustlessly removed to accomodate very deep PL mounted lenses. If it were merely a clip on, I don't think I'd be selling the whole thing as I still have several 7Ds that aren't modified. In any case, if someone was looking for the holy grail of microbudget production mashed up with professional lens support this is a good start.:costumed-smiley-047

Maybe I'll give a ring to some of the rental houses soon. Thanks everyone!
