C500: selling C300 and buying C500

Considering selling my C300 and Buying a C500, what ztra recorder should I get and how much extra will the costs be, considering that I have to buy an extra codec from Canon?

You need AJA Ki Pro Quad (for 4K/2K in 24p/25p/30p in ProResHQ at max. 10bit) or Codex S plus (a very expensive) or Odyssey Q7 with the canon raw option for recording of all camera mode (raw, half raw, RGB444 12bit).

Looks like the Atomos Shogun will be able to record C500 raw footage. It's about 23:49 in.
