seiko commercial "special moments"

Am I somehow misinterpreting your commercial? Did you actually decide to use a portrayal of the death of a loved one to sell watches, and then characterize it as one of "life's special moments"? Not a good idea.
 
Well, it was very well shot. I'll give you that. The composition and the lighting was really good looking.

Now the message, I would definitely work on it. If you're doing a commercial for watches, don't include a loved one dying. If it were me, I'd do just the woman giving birth and then the husband checking his Seiko watch to tell the time of birth. Still would have been emotional, but wouldn't give the bad connotations or offend anyone.
 
yeh very well shot. luved the look. lose the death and keep the birth. I guess u can use the death scene for something else cuz it was really well shot overall.
 
Nice job on the camera work ! I took it as a life enters as another exits, but I agree lose the death. I'd use a nurse checking the ladies pulse with the watch and cut the death scene out (save it for something else).
 
I understand it..But death just is not a seiko watch special moment unless your Charles Manson! I just never recieved one at a funeral.
